#Collab?

Networking guru Kerstin Müller, a Project Management Team Leader with Condor Flugdienst GmbH in Germany shares her top 3 tips to actually making connections stick:

  1. Don't ask for permission to take the lead, just do it.

  2. Grab the phone and reach out friendly and charming to new contacts at a new company if you need them! No intermediaries needed.

  3. Be thankful and express it. Exchange chocolates or sweets for special favors. It doesn't cost a thing to say or write "thank you" or "I appreciate your support". It makes you stand out as a polite person.

Things we think about while watching White Lotus:

Is conscious travel elitist?

Taken from a recent post on Travel Massive, they list higher costs and limited accessibility as the main barriers to engaging in these "responsible" forms of travel.

The overall responses generally say that it doesn't have to be if the right conditions are met, regardless of the activities engaged in. There is also agreement that education around what it means to be a responsible traveler is one of the most important elements.

We're critical, so to us the whole concept kind of seems like just another piece of the capitalist system that makes tourism and the world go round. However we respect the hustle of those in that particular market and want everyone to succeed while doing the best we can for the planet, you know?

Let us know what you think in the comments of an upcoming social post about this!
